My Season started out slow with heavy snow in early November then no snow thru December at all. Once January rolled around the winter season finally set in and I started to get the responses I wanted. I've never been afraid to use different sounds on coyotes to see what they respond to. This season was no exception. Everything from howling to rodent distress to rabbit distress, turkey distress and even lamp distress.
I get asked thru social media all the time what the best calls are to use and my response is always the same. Don't worry about what calls you use. You just have to make the calls believable. Don't over call and spend some extra time at each stand.
